My First Book, Your Travel Shorts: Paris, is Finished and Published

I had no idea until just now, when I logged in to type this up, that it has been eight months … EIGHT MONTHS since I’ve posted a blog!! WHAT??? How?

I can only say that time just gets away from me on a regular basis. A daily basis, in fact. There’s simply not enough hours in a day to accomplish all that I want to do.

But anywho … I’ve been busy. Really busy. Aside from working the full time job that pays the bills, I’ve been writing. And I wanted to share with you all that on November 19th my first published book was released! You can find it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple and just about every other e-reader out there. It’s available in paperback and e-book form, and it’s called Your Travel Shorts: Paris.

I wrote this short book in just over six months. It involved a few long writing weekends, and even more short writing stints after work or when I had a couple of extra hours free. My goal was to finish it in four months (which I think I could have done if I had been more disciplined), but kinda knew six months would be more realisitic. I went just over that. But, I wrote the first words on April 5th, and it was released for public consumption on November 19th! Not too shabby if you ask me 🙂

Should you want to order a copy, the qualilty of the book from Barnes and Noble is better than the one from Amazon (the paper, the formatting, etc.). Having said that, Amazon has the photos in color, whereas they are in black and white elsewhere. So, take your pick.

It’s basically a short travel guide for a short stay in Paris and is based off my own 2 1/2 day experience exploring Paris. If you are planning a trip to go, or think you may want to someday – or even if you know someone going to Paris for the first time, pick up a copy. It will make your planning and decision making much easier. You can find it here:

So, yeah, that’s my most exciting news. But I’ve got more!! I have also revived my love of painting, only this time, I wanted to learn the medium of watercolor. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’m definitely still learning. But, I’m getting somewhere! And I’m truly loving every second of it.

Feel free to check out my site where many products with my paintings are available:

Here is a small sample, but there are a lot more on the site:

I hope that soon I will have time to get back on here more regularly and get back to my blogging – which is where getting serious about all of this writing stuff in my life began three years ago (already!).

Until then, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy New Year!!
