And I couldn’t be more excited!! I have been a Registered Nurse for almost 19 years. But I have believed I was meant to be a writer for much longer than that. Nursing provided me the security I needed to raise 2 kids on my own for the majority of their pre-adult lives. But I cannot say I’ve ever been fulfilled in this career field. In fact, it has left me feeling dried up and empty. Writing is what I daydream about most days. And I’ve always been one to find a way to make what’s important to me happen-a firm believer in “where there’s a will, there’s a way”!
I started a non-fiction book about a year and a half ago. I am 5 chapters in. But that book is such a huge undertaking while working full time as a nurse. Yesterday, I decided to come up with a plan for truly getting started with a writing career, and today I put it into action.
I hope you will stick with me as I build this blog-adding so much content in time that will help others. Some of it will be serious and dark, some of it will be exciting and fun, and my hope is that ALL of it will be interesting and helpful.
